RKPR, Utah?

RKPR, Utah?

Okay, while that might not be completely accurate, it is.  Kristen Power who has been with RKPR for three years is packing up and moving to Kanab, Utah.  As a native Nevadan and Renoite, this is big.  For us, we’re excited that she’s still going to be part of the team working remotely from her beautiful new locale.

We hope you can join us Thursday, September 23 for a little sendoff and well wishes as Kristen begins a new journey.

If not, don’t fret.  Share your stories, thoughts or well wishes here.  We’re sure Kristen will treasure it.

Kristin, I am so excited for you! Kanab is such a great place to live. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary’s gain is definitely our loss. I am so glad you are still working for RKPR.

I’ll give you a hug in person next Thursday, but I wanted to leave a note and tell you how awesome it has been getting to know you. You are a great person and a consummate professional!

Best wishes Kristen as you start the new adventure. I was reminiscing about sophomore year at the j-school and your first PR pitch for the writing class. I wonder if you remember that your client was toilet paper with the tagline no need to spare a square.

I’m sure that you will keep your sense of humor in Utah.

Thanks Kelly, Zach and Casey! It’s a big adventure but I’m so glad I get to also keep doing what I love to do. Will miss everyone for sure.

And no Kelly, I don’t remember that first pitch at all but it sounds like something goofy I would write. If you can’t throw a few laughs into life then what’s it really all about?

    Hey Kristen,

From the Reno Hilton, to RKPR (and wherever you were in the go-between-years), it’s been a pleasure working with you. You’ve been among the most helpful PR people I’ve worked with. Good luck in Utah!

Thanks Jason! It certainly has been a journey and I’ve always enjoyed working with you. Will definitely miss reading Misc. Debris in print.
