Ronele M. Dotson

PRESIDENT | ACCOUNT STRATEGIST

Ronele M. Dotson, APR, Fellow PRSA, is a seasoned marketing strategist and creative brand storyteller whose work has shaped some of Nevada’s most recognized destinations and events. Backed by more than 33 years of experience — and an entrepreneurial spirit that asks, “What if we could?” — she founded RAD Strategies Inc. in 2002.

Now 23 years strong, Ronele and her team deliver innovative, insight-driven strategies that cut through the clutter to uncover the ideas and visuals that move audiences to act. Her work blends creativity with measurable results — from launching the Reno Whitewater Park that helped redefine downtown Reno’s image and earned national media coverage in The New York Times and on The Today Show, to revitalizing the Hot August Nights brand into a nationally recognized celebration of classic car culture and community.

Her expertise spans tourism, large-scale events, and community-driven economic development, always anchored in cohesive brand management, authentic storytelling, and audience engagement that drives economic impact.

Ronele’s award-winning work has been recognized locally and nationally, including Best of Show and two Silver Spike Awards from the PRSA Sierra Nevada Chapter for Dragonfly Energy’s Imagine: A Musical Collaboration with Jeremy Renner and Hot August Nights’ crisis communication strategy. She also received a Bronze Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America for the Below the Surface video series for Virginia City, Nevada.

An Accredited Public Relations Professional (APR) since 2002, Ronele was inducted into the PRSA College of Fellows in 2020 and is serving as its 2025 Chair, reflecting her continued leadership in advancing the profession.

A fourth-generation Nevadan, Ronele finds inspiration in her home state’s spirit of innovation and independence — and balance through her faith, family, friends, and love of travel.
